Description

This mouse is lightweight and small, it can accommodate most mouse grips, has no noticeable latency and its wireless.  It has a the standard left and right mouse buttons the middle mouse button and rubber tactile scroller along with a dedicated dpi button.  It comes in a variety of colors and themes, Black, White, Lilac, Blue, KDA, and Mint, so every user can find what is right for them.  The dongle stores under the battery case so its convenient if you are using it on the go.

There are ways the modding and 3d printing community have come up with for reducing the weight of the mouse.  Using a triple a battery was one of the methods, along with 3d printable casings that cut a honeycomb pattern in the plastic.

The software allows you to program your dpi button selecter with 5 settings that you can rotate anywhere from 200 to 1200 dpi. The other buttons are also programmable and profiles can be made to accommodate various use cases on the fly.

Rank

I rank it 10/10, this mouse hits all the buttons for me.  If you had asked me if I would have used a wireless mouse five years ago, I would have laughed at you.  Now I am pleasantly surprised I have been after using this mouse for a year, almost exactly.  I purchased it Jun21st 2021 and its the 11th when I am writing this article.  Amazon rankings are 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Pros

  • Relatively lightweight
  • Excellent ultra-low latency sensor and transmitter 1ms polling rate
  • Adjustable dpi
  • Great build quality, still feels new after a year
  • Low lift off distance, allowing you to pick up your mouse without it tracking on screen
  • Relatively small

Cons

  • Possibly too small for certain hands
  • Battery
  • Not bluetooth
  • Some people reported double clicking after a few months, not many and I haven’t experienced that.

Price

On release this mouse was around $60.00, but a bit over a year later and it normally hovers right around $40 and a bit less if you opt for a refurbished option.  At this price, I don’t know of a mouse that can beat the functionality of the Logitech G305 Lightspeed.  Easily the best mouse for the price.

Guarantee

Logitech offers a 2 year limited hardware warranty and RMA.

Conclusion

After using this mouse for over a year, I haven’t had anything to complain about.  I put in a NiMH battery when I first got it and swapped the rechargeable battery one time. It hasn’t had any noticeable problems using the lower voltage NiMH battery. In my opinion, this is the best mouse for the price.  I really love this mouse, I will never get another wired mouse, I value my mouse’s freedom.

If you are in the market for a wireless mouse and you want something that doesn’t have latency for accuracy in gaming or in content creation, this is the mouse you have been looking for.  Don’t let a wire restrict you ever again.  Get it here!
